Interdisciplinary artist. Berlin-based since 2014.
In 2016 Manuela Garcia Aldana graduated from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2018, she was selected to participate in the program ¡n[s]urgênc!as 2018 – Berlin based platform for socially conscious artistic practices and activistic positions from the south. Manuela has been engage in different sociocultural projects. In 2019 with Löwinzahn, activating a floating platform part of the collective Unkraut seeking for a space to immigrant and LGBTIQ artists in Berlin, Germany. In 2018 with “Las milagreras collective” creating spaces for Latin-American immigrant women in Berlin, Germany. In 2017 as a Learning buddy connecting activist women with the International Project Girls Matter. organized by BAG Mädchenpolitik in Cairo, Egypt – Berlin, Germany.
